ATV RiderCourse by motowayz

Course Overview
The ATV RiderCourse is two parts: a 2 hour online e-Course and a hands-on, 2-2.5 hour, closed range s-Course conducted by motowayz licensed ATV Safety Institute instructors. The e-Course develops safety knowledge and awareness through interactive activities and video. The course covers protective gear (like DOT-compliant ATV helmets), environmental concerns, riding strategies, and local laws and is a pre-requisite for the hands-on s-Course. The e-course is completed in advance as an online course in advance of the on-site s-Course.
The s-Course offers riders an opportunity to practice basic riding skills in a controlled environment under the supervision of a licensed Instructor. The ATV RiderCourse provides hands-on rider training with an emphasis on safety and skill development. During the school, motowayz riders learn basic techniques for safely riding ATVs. The course is held in a safe, controlled, and closed-course setting enabling the rider to focus on learning and developing their new skills in a no pressure and “no-judgment zone”.
Riders practice basic safety techniques with hands-on exercises covering starting and stopping, turning (both gradual and quick), negotiating hills, emergency stopping and swerving, and riding over obstacles. Particular emphasis is placed on the safety implications relating to each lesson.
The All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Institute® (ASI®), a not-for-profit division of the Specialty Vehicle Institute of America® (SVIA®), was formed in 1988 to implement an expanded national program of all-terrain vehicle (ATV) safety education and awareness. ASI’s primary goal is to promote the safe and responsible use of ATVs, thereby reducing accidents and injuries that may result from improper ATV operation by the rider. This course is an ASI ATV certified course delivered by motowayz.
