ROHVA DriverCourse by motowayz

Course Overview
Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles, sometimes referred to as side-by-sides, UTVs, or ROVs, handle differently than other vehicles, such as ATVs, motorcycles, and cars. Learning how to drive your UTV / ROV is an important first step for you and your passengers.
The ROHVA DriverCourse is two parts: a 2 hour online e-Course and a hands-on, 2.5 – 3 hour s-Course conducted by motowayz licensed Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association certified DriverCoaches. The e-Course develops safety knowledge and awareness through interactive activities and video. The e-Course is completed in advance as an online course in advance of the on-site hands-on class. The ROHVA Basic DriverCourse is a hands-on class, for licensed drivers aged 16 and older, conducted in a safe, controlled and closed-course setting enabling the motowayz driver to focus on learning and developing their skills in a “no pressure” and “no judgment zone”. Our ROHVA DriverCoaches will help you develop the basic skills to operate your UTV / ROV in an off-road environment and teach you driving strategies to make safe and responsible driving decisions. The ROV Basic DriverCourse offers drivers approximately three hours of driving time on a closed range and post-exercise discussions to expand on the driving skills and strategies you have learned.
At select training locations, drivers will also be able to experience optional open trail exercises to practice the skills and knowledge they have learned in a real off-road environment.
This is an accredited course by ROHVA. The Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association (ROHVA) promotes the safe and responsible use of recreational off-highway vehicles (ROVs) manufactured or distributed in the United States. ROHVA is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to develop a standard for the equipment, configuration and performance requirements of UTVs / ROVs. Based in Irvine, Calif., the not-for-profit trade association is sponsored by BRP, Honda, Kawasaki, Mahindra, Polaris, Textron Specialized Vehicles, and Yamaha.
